Your comfort is our highest priority. In addition to refreshments, television, headphones and blankets, we have a multi-step approach to patient comfort during treatment.

Vibration
The gate control theory of pain states that non painful input “closes the gate” on painful input. With the use of vibration during injections, we are able to confuse the body and block painful stimuli.

Warmed anesthesia
Traditional anesthesia is almost thirty degrees below body temperature. This can cause a painful response during injections. At Bent Creek Dental, we warm anesthesia to body temperature, eliminating this discomfort.

High Strength topical
We work closely with a local pharmacy to compound a special topical gel for placement prior to injections. This aids to numb the tissue and curtail the pinch.
